UW offering a double-header promo again this year

Looks like they learned their lesson from not promoting the Boise game as heavily as they could/should have.
It's also a very good thing that the football game isn't the night game that day as well.
Awesome deal, go Pokes!

Sounds like a great deal. Even if you cant go to both, buy the package and support the Pokes FB team in their biggest game of the year and then hand your ticket to someone on way out for the basketball game.

need a homefield advantage vs SDSU

That's exactly what we're likely to do. :)

Weather report is shaping up to be great for the game. I think I would rather have an old fashioned winter storm for San Diego state.

The combination of cold weather and altitude would be a boon for the pokes. But now at least we won't be hindered in our passing game if the extended forecast shapes up.

I use to think like that, but I have seen us get our asses kicked in cold weather in Laramie too many times (including by Rocky Long coached teams at UNM) to think it is any real benefit to us. I would rather have good weather to bolster attendance.

This is what I was thinking. A storm would hurt us more than them

I really don't think the weather gives Wyoming any advantage. I would rather the weather be good so the assticks don't have any excuses for us beating them.
That doesn't mean we can't worry and irritate the hell out of them about the possibility of blizzards though.

Urgh, likewise. Freezing your ass off only to get dominated is miserable. Don't get me wrong, I love cold weather and snow, but not when I'm sitting still for four hours.

That nationally televised Utah game where our transformers blew up to delay the game several hours was beyond miserable, mainly because when the game started, the entire team just bent over and took it.

I just relished the thought of these so cal boys playing in cold weather with no way to prepare for it. At least we could practice in it and live in it.

I'm happy though as it leaves a better chance for a big turnout. No excuse for a poor crowd with weather in the 50's for a high and an afternoon kickoff.

Need a huge turnout from Casper and Cheyenne as well as a great student turnout of course which I think is a given if we take care of business this week
