UW @ Iowa

Great first quarter, awesome defensive effort with 3 takeaways. Offense was running on fumes absolutely shitastic offensive play calling.

Team imploded last 2 minutes . From play calling to Allen hurting the team to punter sucking it up, to defense giving easy pass td. I hope they get their heads on straight in locker room. They were mentally weak there

Let Josh play for god sake....stop playing to lose. They same thing happened in 1994 at Nebraska Wyoming played tough and then didn't stick a knife in them

That was an embarrassing finish to the half for the entire coaching staff. I could call better plays than Vigen to finish that half. How long are we going to show that fake pressure at the line then instantly drop back into coverage? There isn't a point in doing it unless you're actually going to bring pressure occasionally.

Allen still has not figured out how to make a decision to throw a ball away. Hurt us twice now with that. And also we need a new punter. Not good at all so far on punting

He's a true freshman - he'll be fine. Unfortunately we're putting him into high pressure situations similar to what we did to Cooper last season.
To me Allen showed better judgement - the intentional grounding was better than an "int", as much as it sucked. I'm still upset about the play calls.

Hope we see some major improvements on the offensive side of the ball. Special teams has been a big disappointment as the punter has been poor and our kicker while kicking a nearly 50 yarder followed up that kick with a kick out of bounds. We can't ask much more from the defense really

They did when we got the fumble... I think that part's been fine. Was more concerned how they more or less ignored the receiver on both TD plays, though.

So far I have not been impressed with any of his punts. Not much air under the ones he did make contact with.

WTF are our coordinators doing calling plays with a dart board in the dark.

Indeed. First down was on Allen, but second and third down had NO chance to succeed whatsoever! Hell, throw a freaking screen to Hall if they're going to pressure like that - he showed he could catch the ball!

No @##%.....DUMBASS play by QB on first down but come on....

Our receivers also don't really block for each other on the short throws. I think I saw ONE instance where we got a couple of extra yards because of a block after catch, and that was whatever TE who got in the way of a tackle.

I doubt we get 3 turnovers in the second half. Need some downfield attack with receivers and tight end along with play action. Ditch the read option. Special teams just needs to be average. Play calling has been a pathetic attempt to catch them off gaurd with cute shit that hasnt even sniffed success. Really missing the skill position players more than I thought we would. Gonna need to throw it farther than 5 yds downfield to get anything going.

How long will it take the staff to figure out they can't line up in an I formation and try to run straight ahead on third and short or fourth and short?
