I think we have more game history with Utah State, and maybe New Mexico. Obviously, the stinky sheep leads. San Jose should probably drop athletics altogether.

Outside of the big programs with oodles of legacy seatholders, live sports attendance is tanking. Inconvenience, improved technology, the wide availability of game broadcasts or streams, the unpredictability of weather, the relative disinterest of millennials and their propensity toward indoor activity are all working against attendance at live sports events.

In the future, I see smaller stadiums that are highly amenetized, including concourse lounges, in-seat food ordering via smartphone apps, personal game "broadcasts", and near-constant promotional activity similar to what goes on at NBA and NHL games...

Legalizing sports gambling will so add to this. Stadiums will become real time casinos via smart apps. Betting on the outcome of replays, free throws, field goals injuries etc

I think you're right and that's depressing. Personally, I just want to watch the game free of the other distractions. It's why I decline to sit in the Wildcatter and other similar box type situations.

You're absolutely right. But I get distracted easily and have a hard time focusing with so much else going on in the background. It's my personal preference and I absolutely realize that sports franchises have to evolve to the desires of the population and fanbases as a whole (the majority of who probably like and require the additional entertainment).

I don't know about this. Nothing compares to the energy in a stadium right before kickoff or at the end when the game is really close. I think teams that are good put asses in the seats.
