Fresno St. 37 - USU 24

Considering that our defense somehow kept USU to 300 yards of offense and 21 points (2 TDs can't be attributed to them, but where the hell was that performance in all the other games?), Fresno's front 7 will tear them apart. Though, Fresno's secondary looked like a steaming pile of crap against SJSU, even more so than ours.

Fresno should win. We sat with a bunch of USU fans last Saturday and they sound a lot like us during the Glenn years... Very good defense but feel like their offense is too conservative especially without Chucky. I don't think their offense has enough to stay with Fresno.

I was impressed with their D but not the whole team. We gave them two short fields, a special teams TD, and a trick play from the 2 yard line to mess up another score on our end. The game could have been much closer.

I agree with BP. Fresno went from a possible BCS Bowl, to at best, driving over to Las Vegas to play in Sam Boyd Stadium in front of 20,000 disinterested fans. I think all the wind is out of their sails and they literally mail this one in. USU wants this one worse. Aggies win.

The bigger question now is good 60% of the people that post talked about how the new additions from the WAC were bad additions. If they were such bad additions why are two new teams playing for the first Championship game and not teams that have been here?

Also I never pick scores but I think Utah State could pull the upset but still expect what SJSU did to Fresno was a fluke.

I can't see USU winning this. Their secondary is mediocre at best. Plays to Fresno's strength. And last week they had Fales slinging the ball around. That isn't Garretson.

I wouldnt mind seeing USU win, but I can see Fresno winning 34-20.
