They did get a confirmation. Just made the wrong call and stuck with it.
 
Targeting rule sucks, plenty of teams have been screwed by it this season. I'm surprised it took until the 9th game for us to be pissed about it lol

No, they said "call on the field stands" rather than "is confirmed." The difference is that they don't think there's enough evidence to overturn, nor is there enough to confirm it.
