Dangit, another TD would've matched our most points in a game since 1996!

Ahhh...the infamous 66-0 destruction of the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors in Laramie that year. Great memories.
That'd be the one!

I drive my Hawaii buddies completely crazy about that game...a. lot. :D

It's good to be a Wyoming Cowboy! :D

I'm as guilty as anyone criticizing the play calling. But damn!, i'm still a bit gun-shy after the years we have been through. Would love to see us totally blow someone off of the field for 3 quarter before going into cruise mode. Was honestly nervous as hell during that 3rd quarter with the way we came out playing with no fire/passion that we had in the first half....

Well, we lost last year 58-27. I was listening to the game on the radio as I was hanging out in a cabin in the Big Horns with no water, no electricity, just a hand held radio

This year we won 52-28. We could have tossed up a junk score - but took the knee instead.

That is pretty cool if you ask me.

Same here. I was thinking EMU or Nebraska. Or some of those games last year.... We were without Edit: DJ May. What was it - 5 injuries on USU's team? That changes the game plan alot. USU isn't a great team this year and I sure as hell didn't want us to lose to them. I wish they had moved the ball a bit in the 3rd and just kept a reasonable lead. I'll take the win though.

I wish we could bring Bouknight home, hate seeing him on the wrong sideline. I have a t shirt with his and bramlets autograph.

Ok so the muffed punt at the two that went in the end zone and the guy got tacked on the end zone... I'm really confused why it wasn't a safety... any answers for me?

We will eventually. It's kind of nice having him as the Ace in the Hole.

Great game for 3.5 quarters.

Kind of feels like a blowout, kind of doesn't.
But, when you remember these guys still young, and getting better, it makes it okay.

They will figure out how to not have those types of brief meltdowns.

On to UNLV...

Never had possession of the ball. Can't be a safety unless they had possession- regardless of where the muff happened.

This explains the rule better than I could

I don't know how it wouldn't...

It was a four-possession win. That's WITH the ugly four-minute span in the 3rd.

Yeah I feel when you give up more than 25, it's hard to call it a blowout, unless you are putting 60-70 up.
It's a totally subjective thing. Offensively, GREAT game. Defensively? Well, 28 points is still 28 ya know? I like their effort for 3.5, but man that .5 left a bad taste.

It would still have been a TD if we had recovered, though, right?

Yep. Ball was live then.

At the game it looked to be the most inconsistently called game I think I've seen. I personally thought the officiating - well - sucked. There were 4 PIs that were just good D IMO, one that was incidental contact. I thought this was not officiated well at all.
