With the news of the 4 game series with USU, that tells me....

A. BYU is indeed staying;

B. Utah State will not be getting invited into the MWC;

C. We'll add a 12th school soon to go a 2-division setup. Safe bet it's Houston.

With us announcing the non-conference series with Utah State pretty much explains their fate with the MWC. Once BYU is officially back in the fold, we probably invite Houston immediately to get to 12.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Pokes play at Texas Tech again. Lubbock is a half-day's drive from OKC.

Utah State is a step up from the Southern Utahs. Berman: PLEASE quit scheduling the Southern Utah cupcake type schools. Who really wants to watch those games? Let Nebraska continue with those. Put some meat into the schedule. How can the Pokes get respect playing those schools? (And this especially applies to basketball)

Really? We've had one of the toughest schedules the last few years even with SUU and Weber St. on their. besides, practically every year we play a smaller school, which I don't see being horrible. It's like giving to our fellow regional schools. (Discredit The Citadel and Appalachian St.) and we play teams like Montana St, Weber St. SUU. It's not bad, just not Every year. 05, 06 and 07 were good.

haha.. cupcake type schools? NDSU almost beat us two years ago! A lot has changed since that game, but still.. it's not like it was a 50-0 blowout. :twocents: SUU will be a better team than you think.. they've routinely played the toughest FCS schedule (or in the top 10) the last 2-3 years.. won't be a blowout. The game will be a nice tune-up for Texas and Boise.
