Update on Granderson

Who was the kid that suited up at halftime after Granderson got hurt?

I saw on the other board preliminary tests were negative for ligament damage. But MRI's are always scary.

Shiloh Windsor, I think. Not sure if he got in the game and burned redshirt or not.

Based on the Bohl post game press conference, I believe he said he wasn't used.

I believe he suited up as precaution

If he is getting an MRI, odds are that he didn't get the MRI until at least this morning, which means the earliest results would be back is this afternoon. Good chance they won't have a good prognosis until tonight or tomorrow morning.

I hope it comes back clean.

We all do.

I haven't seen anything on it, was it a knee?

Yeah, he had an icebag on his knee on the sideline. I'm really hoping for hyper extension.

Luckily his leg didn't twist when he got hurt. It was straight back, which makes it less likely it's a torn ligament.

Some posters on the other board reported seeing Carl walking around after the game without the use of crutches and with a minor limp. From what I could see, it looked like more of an hyper-extension because, as you said, it the knee remained straight and didn't get twisted.

Crossing fingers that is all it is.

I hope everything is ok and the knee is just tweaked. I was impressed with the defense and their resolve/next man up attitude after granderson went out. We haven't seen that on a Pokes team in years.

Posterior drawer is testing for the PCL, the ones that you are concerned about are called Anterior Drawer, Lachman's test and lateral pivot shift test. These are the ones that test for the ACL.
