Ah, I think he was referring to the game with Nevada, where they are predicting that the announced for Nevada will be 15K and that there will only be 7.5K in the stands......not today's game.

That second drive when we are on our own 20 something give Bailey a chance.The kid could start to surprise. Hes been given what 2 or 3 tries this year. I hate that they jave no confidence in him and yet haven't really given him a shot in games. Thats Bohl shit.
 
After watching today's game, I am proud to say that I am a fan of the worst team in college football...
 
Not much to cheer about, 2 plays in and we're virtually done. Man, this officially is as bad as Vic. Not sure the fan base can put up with the excuses Bohl was giving about all the guys "ill or injured". After game comments like this are unacceptable, period. That is 6 consecutive home losses and counting. Bohl's stock is plummeting, this season cannot end soon enough. I conjured the crystal ball after this game, the response was " we need serious help".

Obviously he sucks it up in practice if they didn't want to give him a chance in the game...

Takeaway Tyran Finleys Blundered coverage/ grab jersey/ attempt to strip ball/ finally decide to tackle the guy into the endzone play.

Shore up the freaking penalties. I counted four that stopped offensive drives.

Get Coffman confidence- the dude was completely dejected after his first INT and was bothered by it the rest of the game.

The D was about one and a half quarters too late in changing up the defense fully. A lot better than not making changes the entire game...

Yes, we lost. No, it wasn't horrible. and yes, there were positives.
And don't say I'm pumping Sunshine because I just gave a list of negatives just with a positive spin.

Stay tough Cowboy nation. These have not thrown in the towel and it shows. Let them learn and build.
 
Well, other than the 2 INTs, Coffman passed for 366 yards, 4 TDs, 30 of 42 attempts for 70% completion. Gentry had another game receiving for over 100 yards and a TD.
 
It's the defense that needs to pull it together, The offense stumbles from time to time but we can't give everyone a 2-3 TD lead at the half and expect to come back and win.
 
I love the pokes to much to throw the towel in and nezt years offense seems really strong but all these trips to the redzone to not get any points kills me I would rather see them atleast attempt a few field goals. If the kid goes 0/10 then ok abandon it the rest of the year. I just think he should get a few tries before we wright him off. Has wingard and pownell jr been on the field together this year? Those 2 should make a strong fs ss combo in the future.
 
Vigen needs to change his scheme. His run up the gut obsession doesn't work with 8 men in the box. And it shouldn't take 3 quarters to figure out the power run isn't working

Wait, I'm confused. You mean run up the middle that broke out for 17 yards at the end in a stacked box?
You do realize most runs were to the outside or even that little shotgun pitch to Hill to the outside.
We were just stopped rushing today. Inside/ outside. And we very much went away from the run and passed. A Lot! Until Coffman had a breakdown...

Easy to lay blame but let's think these things through a little. I OC and I would have had to make calls throughout this game that probably would have made some question. But sometimes you just have to hope that a play will finally break through.
We had an offense out there today that easily could've put up 40 points today even with the lack of rushing. but penalties and some I'll timed TOs left those scores on the field.
The O has work left to do, but they are there in being able to acheive success. The D is still a work in progress. Young, but I watched a far different D out there in the second half doing what needed to be done. They just need to put that together for an entire game.

Wingard is a stud! That guy is the next safety to go pro at WYO.
Preister did well when he finally got to come in, to bad it was to little to late after Finleys blunder.
And Coffman made some terrible reads today that brought me back to the SJSU game last year.
Really impressed with the WRS and TEs! These guys were a question mark for me coming in to the season and they have really stepped up.
Hill keeps fighting! Even when there is nothing there. I really don't know about Wick. He had some opportunities running today where it seemed like he just gave up and would get a loss. 4 games in and he's yet to break 100 yards.

Nowhere to go but up. Just bide the time till then.
