UNM, UNLV, and CSU Still suck

Wyo was obviously not on the same level as NU but goddamn if they didn't go out and make a game of it. All in all we killed ourselves more than anything. We still lose without that but its a lot closer IMO.

BTW very classy of Pelini to kneel down at the end.

Pokes would have had 28 points had Ogbonna and McNeil caught those passes, all that was in front of them was the endzone. Still would have been a loss, but not such a bad one.

Absolutely, dropped balls and mental mistakes kept us out of this one

agreed. I'm not sure ogbonna gets in the endzone on that play. I think he would have gotten tackled, but you never know if you don't catch it. If he does, we're back to within 10.

Maybe sullivan needs some more seasoning before he goes out there. He's missed short FG's. Turnover and no points.

We forced 4 fumbles but only got one. We get a bounce on one of them and game is different.

I've been really impressed with our offense not turning the ball over. Very pleased. We will not lose to UNM this year with the way we have been holding onto the ball.

Smith is impressive. He seems to be good for a few airmails each game. don't know why.

I would say that our D-line is still too small to compete against that kind rushing attack. Would be nice to have some beef to put in there from time to time to counter power run. Michel is about the biggest we have right?

We have a couple DTs in the high 280s, then one or two in the 270s, then 260s.

I wouldn't mind having say, our 2009 d-line back. Don't get me wrong, Biezuns and Knapton do a pretty good job, but they can only do so much. But we need more size up there.

Someone needs to put Mazi in front of the juggs machine, dude dropped two huge passes tonight. Someone else needs to send McNeill up the stairs at the War a few times, that PF was beyond stupid and cost us some points.
