The palms are no longer sweaty, the breathing has slowed, watching the downtown Laramie web cam going down memory lane wishing I was going to the Buckhorn for a celebratory nightcap.

Finally - the taste of victory is sweet.

It’s on to UTEP. Win that game and we have the regular season championship game at the War. Already looking at flights. Bummed the forecast in El Paso is for rain. Right now the sun is shining in my Cowboy heart at half past midnight!

Correct. In my excitement I was thinking of being able to say we finished first in the regular season which hasn’t occurred since 2016. It’s easy to not know what being the lead dog is like when you’re a fan.
