Keep hearing commentators say MWC has 4 locks and Wyoming will be in Tournament but I don’t see it.

Yep...Cowboys peaked about three weeks ago. Everybody else in the conference kept getting better and the pokes are out of ammo now.

In fairness, this last week has been brutal, with the games the Pokes have had to play. And then we make them bus to Denver rather than fly from Laramie.

No excuses. All teams had to play games like that this year. Wyoming isn’t the only team to do it. You either step up and get it done or you don’t. Wyoming didn’t. They can only blame themselves.

Actually, I don’t believe anyone in the conference played Sat, Monday, ride in a bus to Denver play in Vegas return with a couple days rest and play Saturday, after another bus ride back. You can show me if that’s not correct.

Pretty much every team had to play 4 games in 7 or 8 days multiple times this year. Wyoming isn’t the only team. Can’t make excuses.

So I guess that’s a “can’t show me”. And I never said it’s an excuse, but the last couple of weeks their schedule has been brutal - which is factual. Most other teams this week are getting rested. Also fact.

I could show you but I’m not going to waste my time on something you can look up yourself at teams schedules and see. Teams fans have been complaining about it all year. Not sure how you don’t know about this if you follow college basketball? Games we getting postponed and rescheduled because of something called Covid. Surely you know about that? Lol

They’re D1 athletes. If they can’t hang, they shouldn’t be D1 athletes.

yeah, it's not been good. He and Oden didn't score a point last night. And Jeffries only had 6. If you take out the 3 3's that Thompson made, the team shooting percentage is pretty close to a 5th grade girls game.

The shocker to me has been Ike. He was 6-19 last night. I thought he had a lot of pretty good looks. That's the difference. The deficiencies of the supporting cast could be somewhat hidden if Ike went off for 25 or so. I can't think of a game when Dusell or Wentzel or Oden scored more than 10 or 12. That's a lot of pressure on our big 3 guys - and only 1 delivered last night.

Oden had a good game vs sdsu. He was the high point man. We would have gotten murdered without his performance. Mostly I agree, though.

So Dusell was shooting 42% before he went down and is shooting 26% since. He went 0-8 in losses to sdsu and UNLV. The injury has really affected him it seems. If he is a good third or fourth option we are unstoppable. They can't put the clamps on both Dusell and Jeffris. It hasn't been going quite to plan. Dusell is only shooting 33% on threes this entire year. He's better than that and needs to show it.

This is a good assessment. Ike was making over 50% of his shots and getting to the line. He’s not getting those same calls and his % has dropped. Likely one of the only culprits and could easily make up the margin in our losses
