Feel like the Pokes are gonna need to score 30+ on them for the sure win. Anything less could be a little dicey. I hope they pound em and show that side of the division is the weaker one. What are you guys feeling with this one? Lotta momentum heading into this game which helps.

Liked to see the O leading the way over USU. That's what I was hoping they would play like all season. Some of those scores were a breeze. Like TD's the Pokes used to give up all the time themselves. That untouched, walk in, nobody on the screen next you TD pass we saw late was great! In control and not even gonna pick up injuries while putting a team away. I'm not worried about the D yet either. They tend to play up and are a momentum riding D. They've found stops at key moments.

I like how the USU game showed balance on offense. They stacked the box against Hill, and then we picked them apart through the air instead. I hope they can keep that going.

I'm feeling fairly good about our team focusing 100% on the game at hand now. We may not be an amazing team yet, and we do have weaknesses, but this is the best they've played since I've been a fan, and that's been 14 long years of misery. :P

Losing D.J. May hurt. I thought that targeting call was bogus. That said, Josh Allen is a one man wrecking crew. If he isn't 1st team all conference, there's something wrong.

I think if we get Vegas down early, they'll quit. They really are an awful team that we should crush.

Anyone going out there?

Ill be there with 8 coming from AZ.

Still on the fence about going to Vegas. Thinking about being greedy and wait for the bowl game there!

How far is it from Phoenix to LV?
About a 5 hour drive. Not too bad.

Basically like going from Casper to Cody?
Not nearly as scenic though! Phoenix is only 5 hours from San Diego as well, so I can catch at lest one game every year. Hope our alumni group starts planning more in town watch parties.

I was going to go to Vegas for this one but had to trade on-call weekends with a coworker, thankfully I hadn't already booked that trip. UNLV is probably the one team in the MWC that I haven't watched this year. Not sure how I feel yet, but we've gotta come out just like we did against usu and smack them around early.

True. I hated going from Casper to Shoshoni when I was a kid whenever my folks & I went to Cody (we have relatives there). That 98 mile stretch was/still is the most boring stretch of road I ever been on!!!

Yes. But you can put the foot to the pedal. No towns, no cars, no cops. Good test to see what the buggy can do.

LOL My dad does the driving. He usually drives 10 MPH above the speed limit.

I'm becoming that guy. On my commute. From Longmont to Boulder. I deserve tickets at this point, because there's seriously no reason to speed that much on a < 20 minute commute. Because of lights, I gain maybe 30 seconds total on average.

And yet... I can't bloody help myself. At least I'm paying attention to the road, unlike half the other commuters who spend the time reading and authoring e-mails on their phones while driving.

yup about 5 hours, and a unique trip/road in that. I went in 2004 to the UNLV game where we took them to triple OT and pulled it out, what a fun game that was!!!

For everyone that can't make it this week, don't worry about it. We'll be playing in Vegas in December! :thumb:

I'm on the fence. I have family in Vegas so that's where I'm spending thanksgiving. But I sure would like to go this weekend. We have covered in every conference game this year. We were only 4 pt favorites vs. Utah st. We are only -8 against UNLV Saturday. I don't get it. This is a team that has 3 wins - Jackson state, Hawaii, and fresno. Csewe had them down 35-0 at halftime. Unless the team gets vegas fever, we should stomp them.

As an aside, Air farce is -4 at home against csewe. Seems to me vegas has the wrong favorite. It's starting to look like csewe was a quality win and air farce not so much.
