The team played with a lot of grit today. Barnes played with a little fire while he was in during the second half which I haven't seen from him before. He'll be useful if he continues to play that way. Naughton was the same way and was really impressive. He deserves to start over Barnes. Lieberman diving on the floor for that rebound basically summed up the whole game for Wyoming. These young guys have bought in to Shyatt 100%. This team is going to be scary come tournament time.
Josh's shot was way off tonight. It looks to me like his motion has a hiccup in it that it hasn't had all season. Hopefully he gets that fixed because the team needs him to be more consistent offensively. He was a monster on defense. The anticipation call by the referee on that block was ridiculous. Apparently he hasn't reffed any games for Wyoming in the past 3 years.
I can't believe those refs gave that review to UNLV. It was obviously a foul on Washington, but it's too late to make the call. You can't fix a mistake by making another.

WRONG. You have replay to get calls right so why use it if you aren't going to make the right call. Was there a foul on Trey? Possibly but that's something you can't review. What you can review is black and white which is who hit the ball out of bounds. It was clearly out on UNLV and just because you missed the foul doesn't mean you can blow the call. As an official you have to call the black and white call or you don't deserve a job. Plain and simple.laxwyo said:

I listened to that radio show. They never really called out Dave's coaching and threw the players under the bus. I'm guessing that they definitely have some of the blame on them but the truth is Dave didn't have a system that worked for these guys either. Had to love these UNLV fans calling our team terrible this year and barely remembering Josh Adams. That was enough for me. Nice to hear them say they thought CSU is a worse team then even this bad Wyoming team though ahahah....ok ok I can deal with that. Still they don't even recognize or know why we are successful.
