UNLV six point favorite

Like last week, I'm a little surprised at the line. However, since I was humbled last week I won't be saying anything, or placing any bets. Here's hoping for some offensive improvement by the Pokes this week. If we play up to our potential I do believe this is a winnable game. This is not to take anything away from UNLV since it does appear that they are an improved team this year.

UNLV played a hell of a game against Oregon State. After seeing us last week, I don't see us winning this one.

And they needed everything they had to beat Hawaii at home. There is no reason we can't win this one.

I am done PTS, because I have been wrong every game...but this last one hurt. I will say this though, if UW plays like the first 6 quarters of the season, we have a chance. If UW plays like the last 6 quarters of this season, we don't.

Hawaii still has a pretty dynamic offense. I don't think we could beat Hawaii.

I agree. Their coaching is a bit suspect. IMHO, UH overpaid McMackin. He aint worth a million per year!!!

I didn't realize McMackin was getting 1 mil year?! Wow lol... Who did his contract? I'd like to have him negotiate my salary!

I don't think we could beat Hawaii and I'll tell you why: They score points; We don't. Period.

I think the current AD there did. The last one was a even better joke than Lee Moon, Sr. if that's even possible!

Something I didn't realize...UNLV hasn't won a conference road game since Oct. 8, 2004 against BYU!

That was the same year the Mighty Joe Glenn beat bWHYu. Obviously a down year.

In addition, the spread has dropped to 5 and 5 1/2 now (from 6) which means the Vegas bookies are trying to get more $$ placed on UNLV...hedging it a bit. Interesting.

As of 4 p.m. Wed. the spread has dropped to 4 and in one case 3.5. Are the wiseguys putting a bunch of cash on the Pokes? Someone sure is.

Interesting. Somebody is putting some big $$ on UW in order for it to drop 2.5 points since Monday.

This week's line is definitely bizarre. Now everyone is down to 3.5 with one casino at 3. A three point jump on a -24 line is unusual, but to drop from 6 to 3 is almost unhead of. I'm not making any accusations here, but it will be interesting to see if anything bizarre happens during the game.

People probably read the disclaimer that UNLV hasn't won a conference road game since 2004. No matter how bad Wyoming is, its tough to bet on UNLV till they break that streak.

I am hoping this is going to be a break-out game for UW just like it was for Cewe last week.

I just hope we beat the Rebs 'cos if not, I'll never hear the end of it from my Hawaii buddies.
