UNLV in Laramie

I sure would like to see a good basketball game in the AA on Saturday - the last one was very disappointing to say the least. UNLV is a tough team, but it just comes down to if the Cowboys show up with some determination and want to play for 40 minutes.

UNLV just lost one of their guards due to suspension is my understanding. Will this impact them?

The Pokes seem to do very well lately in the first half. Then in the second half, El-Foldo. But is it really the Pokes collapsing or is it that the opposing coaches have figured out what to do and Schroyer can't come up, on the fly, with something to counteract it? I think Schroyer's game-day coaching needs some work.

We played them pretty tough down at the T & M. Without their guard and with a good effort on our part, we could do it if the Pokes all come to play for 40 minutes (we need to outrebound them). Agree with you ADV8, we got outcoached in the second half against SDSU.

What are the roads like around Laramie? Gonna be an easy time getting there for folks traveling?

I don't live in Laramie - I'm West of Laramie (Hadsell Crossing), and the roads so far this morning don't look too bad here. Coming home from the one on the 12th was a nightmare - as bad as it has been for 10 years.
