UNLV Game

Stay warm fellas! I was at a night game against Hawaii. Josh Allen threw the winning touchdown pass in overtime. That was also a rainy game. It was so freezing cold.

Perfect unpredictable Wyoming weather in Laradise. Should favor the Pokes, but somehow it seems these warm weather teams come in and it doesn’t phase them. Recall the SDSU playoff game in December, 2018ish.

Why didn’t the field get cleared before kickoff? Seem like unnecessary danger to me.
Probably thought it would even out the team skill level discrepidency for us by impacting UNLV and it looks like it's done the exact opposite. UNLV looks fine and we look like we can't make any cuts

I wondered this too. Was it frozen to the turf or something?
I’m trying to recall previous games in Laramie in which there was snow prior to or during the game. I don’t think they clear the entire field, do they? Usually just the 5 yard line markers and goal lines.

I guess they treat hail the same way.

People were loving it though. Never seen so many mentions about Wyoming football on social media in my life. A lot of people were flabbergasted that there could be that kind of weather in early October. Most people thought it was snow.

Yard lines and hash marks are usually first to be cleaned, then end ones and numbers. That’s what I recall anyway. It was a heck of a hailstorm when it hit! To think we stayed through tailgating and all of that just to witness another horrible offensive show. I’m finding it harder and harder to get excited for another home game. I don’t think crowds will be great for the next 2, and it’s a good thing Josh is coming in November or we might have had a repeat of the early 2000’s crowds.
