UNLV Game

I'm thinking the POKES steal this one around a 20-17 type of game. I haven't searched but haven't heard much chatter. Any key injuries? UNLV is undefeated but hasn't played anyone with a pulse. ucla is a mess, miami of ohio, has 1 win vs I guess fcs, idaho state is fcs, and sam houston is yet to win a game.

I'm more optimistic about this game than I was in the spring.

UNLV has played exactly nobody. Line opened at 5.5 and now down to 3.5. If Vegas thought anything of them, I would have thought that line opened around 7.5. With a bye week to prepare, we could definitely get this one.

UNLV also had a bye week. If we can't score against this awful defense, then it's time to make personnel changes. I bet us on the money line. If we lose this game, we'll be circling the drain from here on out.

I said it in the podcast last night and will say it again: UNLV is a REALLY suspect 4-0 squad. Give me Wyoming 21-10.

We never play well after a bye. Our secondary was exposed against CU. Our passing game and line play are terrible. Stop the run and you beat good ol' Wyo U. UNLV is better coached and has superior talent. I say UNLV 27 Wyoming 13. If we only play three quarters, like Sawful thought was sufficient at CU, it is more in the 24-7 range.

Likely following a grind-it-out 13 play, 8 minute Wyoming drive to salt away the win for UNLV. It's Jay's way...

Maybe instead of a stripe out, we should all bring white flags so we can wave them as we run out the clock in the 4th to only lose by a little bit.

I hope the game is at least close but I have little faith in UW's offense. I think the defense will be ok if they don't have to be on the field forever because the offense keeps going 3 and out.
Our best hope is Harris gets at least 15 carries and is able to get free on a couple of longish runs.
