UNLV @ Boise State...

A real pillow fight tonight, battling it out for 10th place in this young Mountain West season.

The fans of both teams are having a "we're bad...no, we're worse...no, we are the worst!" fight over at the MWC message board.

Eh, maybe so...but I'm laying low for now. Spirits are rightfully high, but all it takes is a slip up or two and then it's Wyo fans in similar spats.

Knock on wood should just be in my forum signature now.

This game goes a long ways in the MWC. Both teams have the make-up to be a contender in the MWC. I don't believe both of these teams finish at the bottom of the MWC. Boise is at risk of starting 0-4 while if Boise wins both teams are 1-3.

UNLV getting to 2-2 means they are every bit in the MWC chase as SDSU.

regardless any time UNLV loses that's a good loss for us, so that's who I want to lose tonight, especially when we don't have to play Boise again this year

I would think you would be enjoying your time as "King of the Mountain West" but instead you must Kick a man(UNLV) while he is down. Ouch! Just keep the dirt out of my eyes so I can watch your cheerleaders aka the sisters wives!

Uhh... what?

realistically we should be going for UNLV in this game correct? I believe since we play them twice we want them to have the higher winning percentage because their record counts twice in the RPI formula's?

Or do we cheer for Boise hoping they knock UNLV down to 1-3?

I think you're over-thinking the RPI aspect. I'd rather Boise win.

Oh, and Boise up by 5 in OT

with our overall disappointing (due to teams not performing that we thought would) out of conference schedule, I don't think there is any such thing as over thinking the RPI aspect for the Pokes.

i watched it it's always good to see the Rebels lose, esp when we don't play Boise again, UNLV is really raw and it shows on the road
