I've been thinking about this game, threads of past, games of past, all that stuff.
A few folks on here said we need to get the state to pony up a few bucks and drop it into the athletics programs. Well until this game, I didn't think that was really necessary. Now I think athletics needs some extra cash to get the right people in here and get the necessary facilities improvements in place to make sure that UW is all around attractive to recruits, students, and fans.
The problem is I don't think this can happen without some kind of organized support. Maybe its time to build a website, and get some people interested in the idea's that could setup some committees to organize the whole thing? If enough support came around, maybe the state would open up its pockets a bit?
