Uniforms

We need a white uniform trimmed in brown and gold and a brown uniform trimmed in gold. That's it. Put the rest of the uniform budget towards the assistant budget and deal with our limited wardrobe.

works for the SEC and the PAC 12 with the exception of Oregon and the wannabes?

I forget the poster on here who is a whiz with graphic design.....sorry.....but I want him to design the uniforms. Whatever he wants.

Fine with that, but the point is, this is the equivalent of deck chair arrangement when the state rooms all have a foot of water in them after five days at sea.

Willie? He'd love to design uniforms, believe me.. he's done up some good mocks.

So one of the high schools in Texas that I must hate (because it's the enemy) is the Temple Wildcats.
If you look at the beginning of this video you will see that Temple wears blue in the front and white in the back.
Do y'all like that? Wyoming could have some Brown in the front and Gold in the back.

If not sure if I'm right or wrong here anymore but I think that Temple had some pants years ago where one leg was blue in the front and white in the back and the other leg was white in the front and blue in the back.

I don't know anymore for sure about Temple HS but brown in the front and gold in the back is worth a try.
You must agree with me.
It's in the new rules.

Agree.....

Personally, I'm tired of this football fashion show crap.

My next door neighbor is ASU's equip manager, and they had 12 different uniform combinations for 12 games this season.

All of us old farts (and by that I mean anybody over 30) think it's lame, but the kids we're trying to recruit don't. That's the point.

As a member of the Old Farts club I just think we go with basic looks, but that's just me. Let them wear whatever as long as they win.

And just look how that's worked out. A dollar says better coaching and training will trump uniform combos when it comes to serious talent any day.

Well obviously you don't want to recruit players just based off of jersey combos, but the jersey combos COULD be used to win a recruit that can't decide on us, or another school.
But considering we recruit players that mostly get FCS offers, the jersey combos aren't doing anything.

I have posted this before but some of you may have missed it....The design on the shoulders of the uniforms is more functional than cosmetic. It is called "Flywire" and it is designed to keep the shoulder areas from ripping. It is the same technology that Nike puts into its shoes. It may look awful but it is functional.

They are talking about the camo unis, not the flywire.

If I had my say in what the Pokes wore next year it would be an update of what we wore in the 80's/90's. It would be modern enough that it would attract recruits but says Wyoming tradition. Also threw in a bronze trimmed uni that would be worn in the Border War.

All good, though I've never been a fan of the white pants.

That said, STILL want the all gold unis with matching helmets.

+1 I like them, but would replace the white pants with gold or something.
