Looks like we're breaking out the grey camo set again this week.

LOLLERSAUCE!!!!!!!

the best part of the howdy doody video is all the players walking by with words like "courage" and "honor" written across their shoulders

I'm a huge fan of the Unis but I think being Wyoming we would have been better off using a desert fatigue look.

That would have been cool except you would have had to use the prairie gold! LOL

I think they needed more of the camo somewhere maybe larger stripes on the pants the camo atm is just overwhelmed by grey.

I agree a high plains desert camouflage would make sense, but it probably would not show real well on Tv.

I also think a camouflage design using steamboat in brown and gold would be better than digicamo, but all and all I still really like them. I thought they looked even better wet last year which made the gray a little darker. I like the brown helmet with gold steamboat outline with the uniforms.

These uniforms suck ass. Brown, gold, white. That is it and all. And maybe some RWB on Steamboat - on rare occasion.

I agree with McPeachy. Stop trying to be some kind of fashion trend setters and focus on playing football. Last year's team had all kinds of cool uniforms....but those cool looking uniforms didn't help the play on the field one bit. What do they say...you can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig. A message to the players - worry more about kicking ass and whipping that guy in front of you, and less about how you look. Last time I checked our school colors were not gray with camo. This isn't ARMY, it's Wyoming.

Lol...the players wearing different jerseys didn't make them lose. They didn't lose focus and only care about their jerseys.
New jerseys catch the eyes of recruits. Recruiting is what it is all about.

Nothing makes people seem more old and grumpy than complaining about new uniforms because there are too many of them.
"You damn kids and your new uniforms!"

Lol...New uniforms haven't hurt Oregon have they?

Remember it is all about recruiting, and attracting new fans. The players don't give a shit once they are in uniform.

If this was true, the Pokes would be packing the house every game. Maybe read this article and see what you think. It isn't the uniforms that fill the seats, it's the way the team performs. And I'm pretty sure it would take a bit more than a jet racy uniform to get a kid to choose Wyoming over "insert team here."

Here's the link to the attendance piece:

And you are right, I am a grumpy old bastard who could give a shit if we have uniforms to match Oregon's. But I would love to have their athletes.

You look good, you feel good. You feel good, you have a lot of pride. You have a lot of pride, you have a whole lot to play for.

I never said it brought people to the games. I said it creates new fans.
Think of all the new "fans" Oregon has.
How many of them have even been to the state of Oregon or know that UO is in Eugene?

It's about flashy jerseys to the new kids, not getting the old poke fans all jazzed about our traditional colors.
That's the truth. You can fight it all you want, but until you can go suit up and play, the jerseys don't need to impress you.

If you don't think players care about uniforms, you haven't spent much time with 18-22 yr old kids from the city.

I'm pretty sure uniforms mean more to some people than the education they're getting. Wish I was joking.

WR at a school I worked at got a few letters from UW. Kid was fast, state champion hurdler. Didn't get a ton of attention from FBS schools except for Wyo. When I spoke with him he says, and I quote, "they're brown & yellow, what can I do with that?". He ignored every letter he received simply because of our colors.
