Undefeated in 2023?

Is this the same as that shock jock’s prediction on here several years ago that there wouldn’t be a future football season because the end of the world was coming?

Actually a pretty decent schedule with Texas Tech and App St in Laramie. Conference schedule lays out pretty nice also.
Undefeated in 2023? Could definitely see it in conference.
At Texas will be an ass kicking though.

So, no...no we will not be undefeated in 2023. Bohl is so stubborn that he refuses to pull his own head out of his own hind end. No chance. Run, run, pass, punt. It is the Bohl way.

App State is no joke either. Beat Texas A&M and play North Carolina into an OT. Ended up 6-6 . Wonder if they got hit with injuries?

Heading into his 10th season what does Bohl have to lose by opening up the offense and making some serious changes to scheme on that side of the ball?

I'll give Bohl some credit for innovating on offense this year. There have been more than a few pass, run, run, punts this year.

Never know. With the portal, you could end up with 22 guys who play well together. With the playoff expanding a G5 team might find lightning in a bottle. Would you prefer 7-5 seasons or a 4-5 losing seasons and make the playoffs?

'Ol Bohly doesn't now how and is too stubborn to recruit the portal. "Change or be Changed" has never entered his vocab. So, when will he be changed...LOL!

I don't think undefeated but I've been wondering if this year is a prelude to a break-out year. To me, this year's squad has that feel to it. The right mix of portal and young guys taking a step could be a decent year next year.

Yes, I know. Bohl sucks, WYO sucks, the o will never produce, Bohl needs fired, 0 chips, etc. etc.

A lot of surprisingly big years in cfb are preceded by a roster full of youth and 7 win season.

But that is assuming the youth sticks around. We are already losing some important pieces. I don't think we know who all will be sticking around until about a week after the bowl game. If we don't have any more consequential transfers out, I like next year's outlook.
