We have a great QB and a deep, yet talented recieving corps. The only thing holding the offense back is the line. If the JC Center can at least match what Carlson did, we should be alright up front. Otherwise, it'll be a long season.

I'm not of the opinion that the Oline goes as the JC center goes. IMO, the addition of the two JC's (who redshirted last year) makes the line better than it was with Leonard and Magnusson. Both Jake Jones and Tyler Strong also had a year to mature. The JC center could be the icing....but not the stick that is holding the cake up.
We have 4 centers on the roster and a long snapper. Hopefully someone will step up. Maybe throw 40 pounds of muscle on the long snapper over the next 18 months, and we'll be okay for the 2014 season.gopokes1399 said:JimmyDimes said:fromolwyoming said:Good article. And agree on every point.

I wasn't trying to say that it all depends on our center, the main point was that the guys in spring camp had trouble just snapping the ball and getting it to Smith cleanly. If Smith doesn't touch the ball, he can't make a play.
Thank you all for your kind words and comments I look forward to publishing more work
