Uggly Game

So... if I'm DC, I make some insane half-time adjustments. Throw down the field, fake the lateral runs, but run up the middle - fullback leading. No handoffs 7-8 yards behind the line of scrimmage. It has to be closer... go with power, and go for the home run down the field. As long as the receivers are willing to tackle if we get intercepted, it's all good.

Just go for the throat, Pokes! No more of this going backwards crap!
 
Throw a quick slant every freaking down. Out of 3 downs you should get 10 yards.

I hope that fumble wasn't our chance to win the game that we didn't capitalize on.

Dead on, but if he wants to make serious adjustments, he should deliver a pink slip to Arroyo for this play calling masterpiece today. If DC has been taking part in the calls, he might want to consider stepping down for the rest of the game. Glad the D came caught a little fire in their asses, but this offensive shit is getting hard to take - been about 7 years running now...
 
can someone explain why acs is scholarship? he looked awful at the utah game last week and from the box score on espn, he's not doing anything productive again. did i read somewhere the was a new frosh qb scheduled to come in next year? hopefully.
 
I was wondering how long it was going to take them to figure out they just need to keep it on the ground against us.
 
The title of this thread is spot on. Sloppy play by both teams.

Heaps is a crappy QB. Not sure he is going to improve much over the next three years. He looks lost out there.
