I can't decide if this helps or hurts us, When a team stumbles against a lesser opponent they always make an excuse. If they beat UCLA it will just be an excuse they weren't prepared for week one. Nothing is going to give us respect except winning we really need to beat BCS teams not just come close.

So I'm at the Omaha Zoo all decked out in my Wyo gear (Gold Sewell Jersey...no 5) and some random dudes yells "Wyoming should have won a couple of weeks ago. If the game was one minute longer!" It was kind of funny. I had to laugh and repeat "Only one more minute".

21-10 Nebraska going into halftime, but wow Nebraska looks a lot better than UCLA out there.
And it's not like Nebraska looks any different than they did against us. Not like they turned a corner or we were their wake-up call.
This gets me stoked. Our offense looks better than UCLAs and our defense does as well. Not to mention special teams.

Wyo2Dal if Nebraska piles it on UCLA, yes people will say that Nebraska wasn't ready. But some other people will say wow Wyo was actually good.
Now if Nebraska loses, then people continue to say yep Nebraska sucks this year.
Nebraska winning will help us in terms of the way people view us, and will also give Nebraska the excuse for the first game, so positive and negatives, but Nebraska losing is only negative for us.
