UC Davis??

I don’t think a bachelors degree is worth much except maybe from engineering type schools. definitely a use for college in those fields but zero for business and a lot of others. At some point, people will look at people who move somewhere and go to a physical college as suckers.
I tend to agree with this. If you're going to be a teacher, engineer, doctor, or attorney then yeah, go to college. Other than fields that need incredibly specialized training there's less and less value put on education and more put on on-the-job training.

computer science was also one that seemed like the stuff you learned was obsolete by the time you graduated. At least the higher level stuff.

As an education major, I don’t really think education degree is what should be needed. My buddy was electrical engineer and teaches math. The education classes were mostly worthless for science education imo.

Accounting requires a degree and doesn’t become obsolete as long as you continue your education. However, with advances in AI a lot fewer of them will be needed.

I have an accounting degree from UW. I feel it was worthwhile in terms of helping me find good employment
