I could be wrong, but my best estimate after counting it up, and depending upon a acouple of guys, is that we are at either 77 or 78 scholarships after the Mayfield commitment.

My questions center about a few of the special team players and a QB and a LB. I was with the understanding that the only special teams players (kickers & punters & Long Snappers) that are on scholarship are: Stuart Williams, Brendan Turelli and Ethan Wood.

I was questioning if Colby Kirkegaard is coming back because they had him listed as a senior this last season. I hadn't heard if they had put any walk-on players on scholarship that I hadn't heard about like Devin McKenna?

So we may have about 7 left. It looks like we're signing a full 25 and will be at our 85 scholarships this year. DC struggled to get to 85 for five years. Bohl's doing it his first year.

I believe Colby was quoted in the press as saying he was coming back right after Smith left. He did redshirt one year and the WTE article lists him as a redshirt senior and returning

He would have to add another 20-30 pounds to play DE though, at least according to his HUDL stats.
