Two MW coaches on the hot seat?

I agree it absolutely works both ways but we thought we won the turnover battles because the team was getting to be a better team. Turns out we were just lucky as shit and had seniors that were good at getting those turnovers now that they are gone we aren't getting any.
This is the point people are missing. This swinging pendulum will only continue while CDC is head coach. They will live (7-9 wins) and die (1-4 wins) by the turnover ratio, and the current trend suggests more dying than living will occur in future season. This inconsistency will drive fans away.

I'm pretty sure I said this would all happen in the off-season, BTW. ;) :brick: The numbers do not lie.

The thing that concerns me is that in today's college football world, we are going to have to live and die by turnovers because we are not (for the foreseeable future) going to get the talent that is good enough to win games regardless of turnovers (I.E. BCS schools). This fact is regardless of who we have coaching unless we shell out something absurd ($10+ million/year) to get a huge name coach. I'm not saying we can't get the occasional steal or diamond in the rough-type player, but we aren't going to get an entire team of them. Having said this, we can't just jump the gun and dump a coach because he lives and dies by the turnover, because that's exactly what the next guy and the next guy and the next guy will do until someone turns the corner. And if we fire a guy every 3-4 years, we will never turn the corner.

he's gotta be on his best behavior and we HAVE to WIN these last 4, if we drop any of those I see him given 1 more year and that's about it...lose em and we may lose/cut ties with him

i agree styleman.

2009 year 1
2010 year 2
2011 year 3
2012 not complete yet.

Its only been ~ 3.5 years. 4 recruiting classes, one of those was a 'last minute recruiting class (2009)'. Hell, he probably hasn't even had a chance to unpack all his boxes yet.

Not that I like to lose. I still believe he can make Wyoming a consistent winner again.
