TV Schedule for next year released

The Mtn. going down is lookin' like a really bad thing.....if this is what it looks like for football season, basketball season will be pretty bleak for almost all MWC teams.

Crap. At least I'll be able to watch the home games with my season tickets. For everything else, looks like it's been relegated to radio.

more irritated than i thought i would be. even though it was expected. Showcasing teams that are leaving, really pisses me off.

Maybe Root Sports can pick up some? It would give them more FBS games, and plenty along the Front Range gets the channel. Because it seems that there is still some discussions going on with that.

Would be nice if they did. Someone will make it happen....the T.V. schedule won't be as daunting as the released version.

The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced this will turn out to be a good thing. Now all the MWC teams are eligible for ESPN stuff like WatchESPN (formerly ESPN3) or PPV stuff like ESPNPlus or ordering College GameDay. Sure, its highly unlikely to see some teams end up on *the* ESPN or ESPN2, but at least they are other avenues now. Don't be shocked if we see many teams get their games moved to mid-week during the season to accommodate ESPN.

Truth. Buttfucker State University and Stupid Dick Suckers University got a combined 15 televised games. What a joke

I've said this 100 times Wyoming does not have a national following but SDSU and BSU both do. We are back to 2-3 Max games a year televised and of the 3 games 2 of them are likely to be on ESPN3 online streaming.

There is nothing good about this you remember before the Mtn network when we never had televised games other then some lame ass Tuesday night game. Those are the days we are being forced back into, Look I love Wyoming and I will always be a Wyoming fan but it doesn't matter what we think about Wyoming as fans it matters what the nation thinks about Wyoming and they have spoken loud and clear with our 1 fucking game the most fucking pathetic part about the 1 game it's not a Wyoming televised game it's a BSU televised game who is playing Wyoming.

Total BS there is nothing good about this in fact it puts us behind where we were in the WAC.

True words.

There are a lot of angles on this deal as well. Including an athletic department mentality that includes playing and competing with teams that have similar budgets, and not striving to be any greater than that.

At least we're not New Mexico!

If New Mexico would have had our record, and mediocre success the last 3 years (football) things would be very different for them.

There is winning, and then there is market size / TV audience. If you are not winning, and don't have a top media market, you are screwed (WYO). If you are a winner, and you have a decent market, the sky is the limit (BSU). If you suck ass, and you have a huge market, you will be fine as well (SDSU).
