Lets revisit after the draft. Chad Muma was drafted in the 3rd round and was the 7th LB picked. If he had gone to a power 5 school you can bet he would have gone higher in the draft.

I don't agree. And further, does it matter outside of round 1? $$$$ is all the same.

Not true . There are significant $ differences depending on which round you are selected.

Yes. Signed last year and redshirted this past year. No indication why he is leaving but we typically saw a few of those transfers every year even before the portal.

Yep - today is the last day of the transfer portal. It does open again in May. Definitely not the mass exodus we saw last year. Also, can’t say any transfers out had any ground breaking signings. I’d bet we pick up 1 or 2 more players during the May portal period amongst the group of unsigned players.

I do note - there is a 2 day compliance period so someone entering today may not be known until January 20.
