Sure was. Went 32-23 from 1996-99 before moving into the head coaching job at Nevada.fromolwyoming said:Wasn't he already the HC there once before?
And our pass D has gotten worse.BeaverPoke said:Let's home Tormey gets fired, so we can start from ground zero again next year! Whooo!
Give the guy another season here before we jump to conclusions! Hasn't our run D been getting better?

Not ragging or anything, just stating a fact.

Or we hire our 3rd D-coord and he turns things around and gives us a respectable defense. That would make sense, wouldn't it? I know that hiring a new coach or staff guarantees nothing, but sticking with the same group of coaches that don't get the job done seems a bit defeatist. The question is, are the people that got you into the mess, going to get you out of the mess? More times than not the answer is no. That is why there is turn-over in all positions in all jobs, striving to improve. Having said that, Tormey is probably a small part of the problem.kansasCowboy said:BeaverPoke said:Let's home Tormey gets fired, so we can start from ground zero again next year! Whooo!

I completely agree. We just set up a base D and now lets let the spiral continue and have a third D-coord in three years. Then we wonder why our D sucks? People don't make sense.
