We managed 4 votes, We'll basically have to win until mid/late Feb which includes beating SDSU in Viejas. To gain any votes, laughable Dayton sky rocketed to #22 for beating no more.

Time to forget about the polls that don't care about us and just watch the Pokes defend the Dome.
 
Problem is we looked like total crap on national tv last week with everyone watching us. Not all our fault as SDSU has as good of defense as anyone in the country besides Kentucky and Virginia. We will just have to go on a winning streak. I would rather not be ranked though. Every time we get ranked it goes to our guys heads and we lose. We play better not being ranked.

I agree.

I looked at the Dayton record, and it doesn't look that bad to me. I'd have to put them in over us at this point, but there is still a lot of ball left to be played.

All we can control is how we play. And as fans, the only way we can do that is to show up and do our own little part to will them to victory. Let's get to the games, Pokes fans!

I can't check the(RV) list on my phone, but it's got me curious who all jumped ahead of us from behind. They all pretty much had losses with exception of a few

Iowa wasn't even getting votes and they took the 25th spot, Seton Hall dropped from 21 to 24 with a loss to a .500 Butler Team, Indiana was getting votes way behind us and they jumped up to 23, Baylor went from 22 Beat #17 ISU and lost to an unranked Kansas St and moved up to 21 (total head scratcher) and Northern Iowa went from 24th to 20th after beating 2 sub .500 teams.

The ones I knew would move up, even above us, would be Indiana, St. John's, and SDSU.
I didn't think the others would jump us, especially CSU. That and Iowa, and I definitely thought Baylor losing to KSU would be enough to knock them out as well as Seton Hall. How they stayed in is beyond me. That is the head scratcher for me.
 
Latest Bracketology has us as a 12th seed.

hotels are reserved just in case, but I can't get flights until we really know and should know within the next 2 weeks, that is if we'll be on target to be a part of the big dance
 
All three of those destinations are doable. Never done the big T. It's on my bucket list and this just might be the year.
 
Indiana, Baylor & Northern Iowa I expect to move up, Winner of the CSU / SDSU game will probably end up in #23 if it's SDSU #25 if it's CSU. Iowa, Seeton Hall & Dayton so far have lost and should be out of the top 25.

Georgetown upsetting Villanova is going to launch them into the top 25 without a doubt.

Baylor, Indiana, Georgetown, Miami and Colorado St or San Diego St in the bottom 5 spots in some order.
