Anyone posting their ballots for the Top 25 for tomorrow?

I think the Pokes may end up staying ranked this week even with the loss to SDSU.

Tons of teams from 18th through 32nd or so lost at least one game this week, and not many of them lost to a team the caliber of San Diego State. Not saying we deserve to be ranked, but I am interested to see how the dozen or so teams in that ballpark will get shuffled around.

Okie State, #24 went 0-2 this week.

They might completely fall off the map, at the very least trade places with Dayton.

#19 Arkansas also went 0-2
#21 went 0-1

Numerous teams in the 20's went 1-1 or 0-1, or 0-2. Very few teams in that ball park went unscathed.

It's not that I don't disagree that we should drop out, but who is going to take our spot? I find it doubtful that a team that was receiving only a handful of votes will leapfrog 10 teams simply because they didn't lose to some no-name teams.

Okie State, #24 went 0-2 this week.

They might completely fall off the map, at the very least trade places with Dayton.

Numerous teams in the 20's went 1-1 or 0-1, or 0-2. Very few teams in that ball park went unscathed.

It's not that I don't disagree that we should drop out, but who is going to take our spot? I find it doubtful that a team that was receiving only a handful of votes will leapfrog 10 teams simply because they didn't lose to some no-name teams.

What we absolutely have going for us is the teams that were just behind us in votes and by just i mean within 100 all lost. The only team that won was Dayton and the teams behind them only had like 17 votes so odds are they don't suddenly get 100.

I still doubt we get enough votes to maintain but if when we win over the next 5 games we will find ourselves back up there. They can't hold us down forever.

That makes sense considering they beat us. They deserve to be ranked over us. They beat us, in our gym.

sdsu is solid I'll give them that but they got 2 votes last week. They aren't deserving to be ranked or even get as many votes as we have. Hell they got beat in Fresno not us.

Maybe because the devastation from 18th through 30th the voters decided to do a complete overhaul in that area.

Well, at least they were receiving votes when we lost to them, so it's not like we lost to Fresno.

Clean up those TOs and become more fluid on offense, we have a chance to repay them when we go to San Diego. But first things first. Rest up, fix the TOs issue we've been having, and beat UNM.

Gotta remember that SDSU also has beaten Utah, BYU, Pitt, us, UNM and one or two others with decent records.

Who have we beat? 9-8 Colorado, 9-7 N Col, 10-10 NMST, 17-2 CSU, 12-6 BSU.

Normally the fluffs do better, but they really stunk it up this season. NMSU is also normally a pretty good team and regularly contends for basketball titles. Them both sucking this year was out of our hands.

I wouldn't call Washington all that good but I get your point. Most importantly they came into our house and handed us our only home loss this season.
I know if tables were turned and we beat them in their place we would feel like we deserve the ranking over them.

Looking at some of the people who voted for us last week they don't have us ranked at all this week. Even the guy who had us #19 last week doesn't have us ranked anymore. SDSU looks like they have a good chance to be ranked.

I know a lot of people who watched us on ESPN 2 against SDSU thought we looked bad. A lot of it had to do with SDSU defense but it is what it is. Will take us quite a few more wins in a row to get ranked again is my guess.

The defensive scheme that SDSU used against the Pokes gives other teams the key on how to handle the Pokes. The problem is, is that it takes a quick, highly athletic team to pull it off. How many of these teams will the Pokes face? On the other hand the Pokes know this now and may adapt to those teams, i.e., for one, play a faster game. Pokes don't make the 25 but will in two weeks.

We'll have to agree to disagree on them deserving anything. They beat Utah early in the season and us so they have more to prove as do we.

So, CSU gets 26 votes in the coaches poll, and UW only 14? How sad that the coaches don't have any love for Wyoming. We are in 1st place in the conference, beat CSU at home, and they receive more votes than us? These coaches who vote for the poll......SUCK.

Not to mention Dayton beat a couple sub .500 teams and went from 22 votes to #22 it's not like they have beat anyone. These popularity contests drive me nuts I really need to quit looking at them we are never going to be popular lol.
