Does anybody know if he lives in Laramie, Cheyenne, or somewhere else?

He is the only living UW NBA player that I'm missing an autograph from.
Any leads would be cool!!

Thanks for your time!

tony was a teacher at my highschool in Rawlins. that was the 90's though. Don't know if he still lives there or not.

He taught me how to drive (legally). He was one of my favorite teachers, even though it was just drivers ed.
He taught me also, loved his class.

He taught my brother to play basketball. He was an excellent high school coach. Rawlins was a force under Windis long before Adam Bennett, Matt Vega, Trevor Hicks and company brought home the trophy..

I wouldn't think anybody would live there unless they absolutely had to - like being in the state pen ;)

Never met one yet.

Have you ever noticed that people who run down Rawlins or other places are people who have never lived in those places - or maybe they have at the pen.

jbeiermann - google the yellowpages for Cheyenne, Laramie, Rawlins, & Wheatland. You will find Tony Windis's address in there.

There's a reason they haven't lived there, they have no desire to. No offense to the fine people of Rawlins, live where you want to live; but me personally, if my job required me to move to Rawlins, I would quit.

Is that Kemmerer that's the star of your avatar?

I like Kemerer. Good country close by there, as well.

Coach Windis was my teacher in High School and coached the 1982 Outlaws to the State Championship. He was the king of the two-handed set shot.

As for growing up in Rawlins - Great antelope hunting and great access to the Snowy Range, Seminole and the country straight south in the Sierra Madres was amazing. Great place to grow up.

Seems like Rawlins is experiencing a bit of growth. There's a new Wal-Mart and quite a few other new buildings that I notice every time I drive through. How are things there economically there?
