Toledo Game Thread

I can't believe we're up by three scores in half time. After watching Toledo handily beating Purdue last week on the road, I was very nervous.

It's obviously far from over, and it'll be interesting to see what adjustments the teams make in half-time. I'm not sure if it's a good or a bad thing that two of our scores essentially came because of trick plays.

From the commentators, it sounds as if they have, and that's why their QB is only 5/12 with 3.3 yards per attempt. Unfortunately one of their big plays came when we blitzed and they managed to complete an easy screen pass.
 
wyo2dal yours looks way better... we really havent done anything spectacular but we are playing within ourselves a couple of trick plays momentum... crowd is out of it... Leonard has 6 or 7 catches looks like the team we saw last year keep it up Pokes

Well, that is what the screen pass is for.

But overall, this is sounding awesome! And of all the games NOT to be televised. :thumbdown:

I'm watching the game and the front four is getting no pressure at all. The DB's are playing out of their ass's though.
 
Quick game summary, D is playing hard, db's doing a great job, making tackles. Offensively it is really more of the same. Vanilla, Scored on a turnover with a nice run, one big trick play and a 2.00 minute offence that was not well organized. Hopefully the O will pick up some.

We challenged the play that it wasn't a fumble... or at least we took a timeout to see if there's anything to check on, before Toledo goes for it on 4th down.
 
possible fumble by QB - must have wanted to make sure they looked at it? also going on 4th down

It worked for us
