Maybe I should search your negative comments and call them cheap shot whining when they are not. Get over it. I'm moving on to supporting the team as I have been.

I have been totally supportive of DCs program from the beginning.

I'll stay away from any of the other stuff, but I'll be the first to admit that I agreed with punting, as I seriously believed we were more likely to score defensively, or at least improve our field position that way with a turnover.

I have a feeling that was DC's justification for the punt as well.

I am a competitor, and fight to win until the end. You can call it cheap shot whining if you want, fact is, I think it is a valid point. I am not ok with quitting before it is impossible to win, and if you are, I would not want you on my team.

I challenge you to find one other complaint about DC from me in the last 3 years. Save your time, you won't. Maybe I should search your negative comments and call them cheap shot whining when they are not. Get over it. I'm moving on to supporting the team as I have been.

I have been totally supportive of DCs program from the beginning and feel I can have one complaint, (not a cheap shot whining) which I would be over, if you left it alone.

Being a competitor has nothing to do with whether you punt or not. Punting was actually best option at that time. You want to win. You want to pin them and force a turnover. You've got one of the top teams in the country forcing turnovers. You want their backs to the wall.

You say the punting is reason why people won't come to the game because you say it means the coach quit. That is the biggest slam you can put on a coach or an athlete, saying they quit. To say you are supportive of someone and in the same breath call them a quitter shows you are wishy washy. I don't buy your claim to be a competitor. I think that post shows you are wishy washy. You call a man a quitter, and there is nothing that is more cutting to a coach or athlete than that, and in the next paragraph you try to cover your butt and say you support the program. I call BS.

And if you want to check for my critical posts, well, I don't even have to wiggle my way out of any of them concerning DC or even Joe Glenn. I stand behind my statements. I don't need to create escape roots so I can play to both sides.

Disussing pros and cons is not wishywashy, I can disagree with one thing and still like others.

What is your dog in this fight? why are you so upset over it?

If wyonation ever did get together I would like to meet. I am quick to temper and pretty quick to forgive. I would to think we would give each other shit over this, I would buy you a beer and we would move on discussing how the pokes are gonna win their next game.

You win, im sorry I brought it up. As I put in my original message "enough on that" I was whining, whatever, look me up at the bowl game and we can discuss over a brew or soda.

What's my beef? You call a man a quitter in one breath and in next breath you say you are a supporter. You call a coach or an athlete a quitter and it's the lowest of low blows. That's BS. I don't care if you were there and spent one night or two nights. I take exception when you call the coach a quitter and then try to say you believe in him and like him. You say you'd like to spend time with him, well why don't you start your conversation when you meet him by calling him a quitter, and see if you have time to explain that you really like him, even if he is a quitter.

I am one of the biggest supporters of DC on this forum. Search my posts and you will see that. I am the one that wants an endowment set up so a coach will get guaranteed bonuses so they are paid at least according to where they finish in the standings. Meaning if we win this weekend, DC will get a bonus so he is paid 2 million this year or whatever Peterson makes at BSU. I am the brown and gold goggles that thought 8-4 was possible BEFORE the season started.

I can love my wife, kids, parents, family and still not agree with everything they do. Same here, I can love this staff and not agree with everything they do, it isn't wishy washy, it is being objective!

I was trying to bury the hatchet but you keep wanting to egg me on. It reminds me of the JG threads were I find myself unintentionally restating that although he is a nice guy the program wasn't progressing like it is now. Same here, I am not discussing that game anymore because I like DC as our coach, and getting egging into discussing the one decision I disagree with, over and over, doesn't really reflect how I feel about him.

So now on it is just about me and you. So how is this for wishy-washy? YOUR A DOUCHE, and I hope we meet.

I saw the strategic value in punting and still trying to win, I think I was the first on this forum to mention hoping for turnover etc. So why are you defending it so hard to me? Maybe because the truth hurts and you have no answers for why there were no timeouts called afterwards?

If you are so ignorant that you don't understand what it means to call someone a quitter, why would I waste my time wanting to meet you? In fact, I have to ask myself why do I even try to carry on a chat with someone so unaware of the world that he has no ability to understand the significance of calling a man a quitter. The answer is because I must be an idiot, too. So good night. Crawl back in the gutter.

Would any of you really fight each other at a tailgate? I mean really... I'd probably kick calpoke25's ass, but other than that, I'm cool. :thumb:

I apologize for you folks, except for Fullback41. I should have just ignored his whole post, but there are two things you can call some in athletics that is the ultimate slam -- a quitter and a choker.
And it doesn't matter how you try to surgarcoat it after ward, if you call an athlete either of those, you have basically trashed him.
DC is not a quitter. You might disagree with his stragety, but to say he quit is BS.
Again, I apologize for allowing emotions overcome my better judgment to ignore idiocyl

If it was an MMA or grappling match I would. Those can be pretty fun. Especially if the person you're up against gets you in a triangle choke with their legs, you can pick them up and power bomb them. It's pretty fun. Not so much for the person getting power bombed, but when you do it.
