Thoughts on the game

Honestly, I wasn't all that disappointed with today's performance. Everyone here knows where we are weak, and nothing was different today.

-Nice 6 for Prosinski
-Glad to see Sween get a few snaps in his last game at the War
-We completed a few vertical passes
-Was not impressed with our sky high, catch at the 20 kickoffs

I think we look good for CSU, esp. with the speed of their secondary.

I sure hope someone in the top three trips next week. Id put TCU up against anyone right now.

Overall: worse than hoped, better than expected. I've seen enough this season to be convinced we're on the right track.

dude - stole my title ...

1. The Pokes looked better in this game than against BYU. Everyone showed up to play, they played hard. Its just that TCU is much much much better than Wyoming right now.

2. The 15,000 attendance was really disappointing - but think about two things: The athletic department did ZERO push to publicize this game. On the front of the web site is all about those War bricks. Also, everyone knew Wyoming was going to get their butts kicked (sorry - just being honest) - So why drive four hours to watch the Pokes get dismantled, when they'res a decent chance the weather could get ugly. (It didn't thankfully)

3. I think the coaching staff were playing to make sure everyone (especially ACS) was as healthy as possible for the Border War. For a spread offense, they sure didn't spread things out. There were 7 guys back to defend the rush - 5 olineman, an extra tight end on the outside, and Genho in on almost every play. So, even when there was time to pass, no one was open, because it was four guys covering two.

4. I'm getting really concerned about the pass rush, or lack there of. It's going to come in handy next week against the Rams.
