Thoughts on the game and our domination of CSU

The stadium was OK, I guess. For 250 million I was expecting more. I don't really see how a 150 m stadium wouldn't be just as good. There are some significant design flaws namely the distance between the upper deck seats and the rail, there is no distance. People were crawling all over each other up there.

Parking sucks. The bus drops you off quite a ways from the stadium and there was a dark walk. Took forever to get into the stadium. They mic up their band and it's wayyyy too loud. geez. Overall I'm not jealous of their new stadium at all. Especially for their price and all that debt. Good luck paying that off with an empty stadium, sheep.

Their fans are strait up jerks. Numerous times (all little brat girls) would say hey fu** you, or f*** Wyoming, and flip us off putting their fingers in our faces. Like totally out of the blue. If they were men I would have punched them. Lots of just really nasty people there. So glad I live in Wyoming.

That stadium is not fitting for that loser university and loser athletics program. their players are pansies for the most part and give up. I'm very proud of our team and our effort. Beating them is satisfying. Go, Pokes.

Indeed. Even the old ladies at the Ivinson home partook in that chant when we beat them in 2004 or whenever that was. It was awesome and hilarious, especially since they were right next to the BYU section.

2003, goalposts came down twice that year, BYU and CSU, and then we got the collapsible goalposts. That was my favorite Border War.

I do wonder if this game is a sign of things to come or just a win over a team that's packed it up and doesn't care anymore. Pokes showed up to play and CSU had no fight in them. Defense cleaned up the stupid penalties and with a threat other than Nico all the shifts and motion finally served a purpose. SJSU hasn't figured out how to win a game, at least until getting UNLV today, but they've played a lot tougher.

Man, maybe my memory isn't so terrible after all. I was pretty certain the goal posts came down in the game where I listened to those old ladies throw profanity at BYU. They forever endeared themselves in my heart that day.

Oh, and the "fire Bobo" article in Denver Post this morning talks about Wyoming fans invading the Rams student section and yelling "THIS IS OUR HOUSE!"

Now that is awesome.
