Thoughts for Boise St

We were stuck in the dark for how to prepare for SJSU. We didn't know if they'd still be playing football players and walk ons, or if they were going to lift one or all suspensions. So Shy took the easier road and practiced/ focused on themselves instead of their opponent. And it was noticeable. They surprised us.
But we do well when we can plan for our opponent.

Agreed some but not all, Preparing to play their Basketball team is how we should have prepared and everyone has beat the shit out of them but us. We struggled and barely came away with a win other teams are beating them by 20+ any team can surprise anyone else and they almost surprised us.

What were we going to prepare off of?
We didn't know what their team looked like, not to mention they installed a new offense between their last game and the Wyo game.

Any tape we would have studied would have been just wrong, not to mention with different players.
Anyways, it's in the past and it was a road win. When we play SJSU in Laramie, it will be a much different story.
 
My biggest concern is our 3 point shooting. We were lights out early in the season like against Colorado for example. But the 3 is the great equalizer. When we get to tournament play, we need to be able to hit the 3. Right now, we are awful. Awful. Riley needs to step up in that dept and so does josh Adams. Other than that I'm pleased with how we are looking. Always nervous bout Boise at home tho.
