And I find it a little concerning that he writes for SI in the "Bay Area"...isn't he one of the idiots who thought it was a good idea for SDSU to sneak around to BSU and Air Force to get them to leave the Conference?
First, the delusions of grandeur from the Mesa are a thing to behold. SUDS really has an amazing superiority complex for a school with such a craptastic history.
Second, from what I have heard, the TV and BCS split merely reward those that invest in their programs and win. What is wrong with that concept?

Look none of us care if SDSU comes back but we know they one of the strongest west coast basketball teams we have access to and for the MWC to be the leader outside of the power conferences we need to basically take the big east apart. We need a championship game between 2 divisions to secure the BCS Bowl and more revenue.
It would make sense to add a Basketball only school that is wanting to current get out of where they are, That should be Gonzaga to offset Hawaii. The rest are the southern markets we don't need an east coast market it's not needed and it's not actually a good move. It would be just as bad for MWC to expand east as it was the BE to expand west.
BSU really got a sweet deal sure but w/e the sun has to shine on the dogs ass sooner or later and let's be honest they have been the ass of just outside of BCS for a long time. Let them have their home games who cares 300K more for national weekday games 500K for national weekend games for any team in the MWC that alone is a huge chunk of revenue.
We should all know at this point if the AD of SDSU goes forward with moving to the BE don't be suprised if he loses his job and the university overrules that choice. I just don't seem them allowing that move to happen. He will have to swallow that pride or lose a job.

Seems to be rumblings that Houston wants out (and by default, probably SMU as well). Houston's AD released a statement today sounding more like an advertisement than anything else, and not one word os support for Aresco or the Least.laxwyo said:
