This year's Border War will be the most compelling since ________.

As a relatively new Cowboyz fan, I'm not sure when. Curious for your thoughts.
 
1996. That's the last time I can remember when both teams were thought to be very good. That 96 game was beauty, by the way. Walwork drove the team 98 yards in the last 2 minutes for a 1 point win in front of a sold out hughes stadium. I think Marcus Harris had about 15 receptions in that game.
 
I think this year has the potential to have massive storylines. Both teams will hopefully be healthy and in the division race.

Both teams have huge question marks!

Could be as compelling as the 1996 snow game or it could be about as compelling as Idaho vs. Eastern Washington.
