(Yes, I realize that talking about a championship is insane after this weekend, but it can still be done.) If we lay an egg this weekend like we did against CSU HCDC's seat will be on fire. If we win, they better start prepping for Fresno immediately.
Here's why: Although most FANS will think there is no way we can win the mtn division, our MWC record will say otherwise.
Opinion doesn't sway record.
If the Pokes win, they are absolutely in the running for the MWC title.
They just need to win this game, and get ready for Fresno, and win that game whether Fresno is 10th in country or dead last.

Just win this game, then get ready for a BIG time game.
Fresno will likely be close to a Top 10 team in the country when they come in here.
2 weeks to prepare for the big boys after this weekend.
A win against SJSU, then I think the team can do it, a loss, and the season ends.

Yep, this is definitely one of those games where we find out what these guys are made of. Statement game, or lay down and die? You could argue this is a make or break game for CDC too. Lose to SJSU, and this season is in a full-blown free-fall.

If UW wins tomorrow, that puts them at 5 & 3 Overall / 3 & 1 MWC, and very much in the thick of the mountain division title. With 2 weeks to prepare for the best team faced yet. And some momentum.
