This could have been Tote Harris's "Brian Hill" game

I think we all remember Brian Hill going into Fresno and running for a few hundred yards and establishing himself as one of the best RBs in Cowboy history (not to mention turning the season for Bohl).

That could have been Tote Harris last night. Every time he touched the ball he looked electric and a step faster than the defenders.

The problem, he was only given the ball 12 times (which, despite that he gained 96 yards!) In their wisdom, when Harris started to roll the coaches would instead dial up a pass that everyone knew had no chance. They could have fed it to Harris the whole second half (and Scott when Harris needs a breather) and I bet Wyo wins and Harris sets himself to to be a great.

Instead, the coaches ruin it. Unforgivable.

Yep. I lost a lot of faith in Bouknight last night that he can be a competent offensive coordinator and play caller. We win that game if we stop throwing the ball in the second half.

While I don't disagree with the idea that we should've run the ball more and given Tote the rock, Kirkegaard also threw for 320 yards and 2 TDs that day. There was balance and our QB was able to deliver the ball on a screen play, something that can't be said of last night.

Would have never guessed back then we would someday dream of having a QB as good as Kirkegaard.
