In lieu of the "other" topic being discussed primarily...this one is sneaking below the radar. And it shouldn't. USC cheated, got caught, and is now going to pay the price. Kiffin has a long road to make it back after the penalty period! Oddly, I think it could have been much, much worse!

What sucks is that it actually screws over the ones who are innocent. Sure Bush may lose his Heisman, but the real losers are the players who are playing for USC the next two seasons, especially the ones who had waited lower down in the depth chart and are now on their final two years getting the starting nod.

Agreed. But it sounds like players are going to be allowed to transfer without penalty.
 
It's sad when teams have to cheat to stay on top. The bowl ban kinda sucks, but the sanctions were good. Yet for some reason the good teams out of the MWC don't cheat (that we know of) and still get less respect than the cheating programs.
