This brings back memories of a couple of times I saw him get a dozen blocks in one game.

He had the worst hands out of any freshman I can remember and he was beast mode by the time he left. It will be a long time coming before anyone breaks his blocked shots record at Wyoming.

I think on it every now and then about the talent we had in the 90's when we had Ratliff, Sawyer, Totta, Whitehead, etc... Instead of that talent being wasted under Joby Wright (losing the majority of our games close), imagine if we had Shyatt teaching those boys up. He showed what he could do in his one year stint with Wrights players... Those guys definitely wouldn't have been remembered for 12;13;14 win seasons...

He only played 10 games in Minnesota, but I loved what I saw from him in that stretch and throughout his NBA career. Seemed like he would've been a fun one to watch back in the day, especially in the old WAC.

The years under Benny were fun, I thought, great recruiter but not so much on the court, but still, and agreed freshman we were like, who, then end of his career wanted to clone him, oh the memories
