Sorry, but I like seeing Karl Benson pissed off. VERY nice. Sounds like bring Fresno and Nevada F'd up BYU's plans to join the WAC too. Hehehehehe!

On a side note....not so sure I like having Fresno and Nevada. Oh well, good insurance when the BIG 12 (minus 2) decides to expand.

Whats funnier is Benson even says in the article that Fresno and Nevada screwed up the agreement that the WAC and BYU had come to. So in other words he is openly admitting he was trying to dismantle the MWC by courting BYU and instead it came around and slapped him and BYU in the face and now he is claiming it is Fresno and Nevada who are selfish. I guess what comes around goes around when you make deals with prima-donna schools while trying to screw over another conference

The Big 12 won't expand. I talked to several people here in Oklahoma and none think the league will survive for more than 5 years more before....poof!

The Big 12 won't expand. I talked to several people here in Oklahoma and none think the league will survive for more than 5 years more before....poof!

I hear a lot of talk that the 10 team Big 12 will only last a few years.
I used to like the 12 team conferences with the championship game. I grew tired of it a few years ago. I don't really want the 16 team superconferences.
I really liked what the Pac-10 had the last few years. I thought it was a perfect number where all 10 teams play each other every year.

I guess Karl Benson forgot to make a sacrifice to the business dealing gods of college football to make his plan work out for him.
