The Pride of the Mountain West

After last nights gritty display and our SICK tourney. Is Wyoming the pride of the Mountain West Conference this year? We look like the best team out of all of them to me right now. SDSU is right there with us no doubt and I hope they make some noise. I'm not overly impressed by Boise or CSU, I thought we were better then those teams all along. We have climbed over mount SDSU. Anything is possible now.

SDSU has gone farther into the dance than anybody in the MW in recent years. Time will tell if that stays the case. It's hard to say...we need to see the bracket unfold. Some 4-5 seeded teams I think Wyoming matches up well and can beat (Providence, for example), whereas as others will outmatch UW at every position (including Nance, like North Carolina). It all comes down to the bracket

Agreed, Cosmic. Sky's the limit. I see no reason why we can't make the sweet 16 or better. We are playing great D and for the first time all season all of our guys are hitting their stride offensively at once.

Funny thing is, I think mono and the wake of devastation it left made us a better team. We needed the adversity to galvanize us and make us a more complete team (@Nevada 2nd half is when this started to happen).

Anyway, I'm proud of everyone. Can't say enough about Larry and his ability to overcome adversity. Can't say enough about Josh and they way he dominated the last 1/4 of the season. Can't say enough about Grabau being the definition of steady and DC for turning from a softie into a rebounding beast who made the clutch-est FTs I've seen. Finally, Jr.. can't say enough about his mental resolve and how he truly stepped up in the tourney when we needed him. Oh, and Shy, thank you for coming back and finishing what you started 15 yrs ago.

Yeah a MONSTER effort by our boys and staff. DC with those ft's unbelievable...you just know your gonna win when things like that are going down. That says so much about our character and the senior leadership. Everyone has improved and put in the work. These guys don't want it to end, they are gonna fight as hard as they can for each other. LOVE EM!!!!
