The day after.... 12 Oct 2008

Bye weeks are always the best time to do a little recruiting. Your right, they have thrown in the towel and therefore further driven this program deeper into a hole.
I would think that Glenn would have enough respect for the program, the University, and the people of this great State that seem to always praise him, to at least go through the motions of being the HC. I believe he is still receiving a paycheck to do a job.
I absolutely hate being negative about Glenn but I can't bleed anymore B&G blood from all the wounds inflicted by watching, quite possibly, the worst Wyoming Football in my lifetime.

Actually, this may have been one of the better games for the Pokes this year. They did out-gain Utah. And if you remove the 21 gift points the Pokes handed to Utah, you have a 19-7 score (although the refs, out of mercy I guess, gave Bolling the TD catch even though his foot was on the line).

Note that saying "better game" absolutely does not mean "good game".

I'm not one to defend Joe's coaching, but someone explain to me why he should be recruiting. How can he look a recruit in the eye and and tell him he's going to be the coach next year. I mean, who's going to come to Wyo. without meeting the coach or coaches who he's going to play for? I think CSU went through this last year with Lubick. He was not recruiting during the season last year and they seem to be doing ok.
