I'm not ready to eat crow about Coach Bohl yet, but I'm certainly getting ready to cook it up.

Last nights game was awesome, and I don't think it was a fluke. That team looked AWESOME!

Wingard... dude is UNREAL!
Loved everything about last night!

Triple OT, YOU KIDDING ME?

I think that kicker will be good, I think some nerves got to him, big deal, we won, he will be better.

GO POKES!

Nice win, but against DIaa, and should have won. Didn't last year. Did this year. A win is a win.

What? Are you calling NIU a FCS team?

Not only are they a FBS team, but they were favored by 9 points, this was a big win for Wyo.

NIU is not D1AA they have been the best team in the MAC for years and were favored to beat us last night. They even made it to the Orange bowl a few years back. This is a good win for a program that only won 2 games last year and is hopefully a sign of better things to come.

My bad. I didn't realize there were any quality ball teams in Illinois. Last one I heard of was Bradley Univ, but they were caught cheating. Cubs are pretenders year after year. Chisox threw the World Series a while back. I think the Bears were good for one year, a long time ago, but that was a flash in the pan.

I lived in Galesburg and Peoria for many, many years. Northwestern is the standard.

That is one of the dumbest posts I have seen on here in quite a while - and I've seen some doozies.

Same here considering Northern Illinois is FBS/I-A and has been I-A ever since the two subdivisions split in the late '70s.

BTW, NIU is the alma mater of David Letterman AND Cindy Crawford!

Gotta love it when someone comes in talking trash and doesn't know what the hell they're talking about

O.K. I just checked and you're right. I coulda swore I heard that both him and Cindy went to NIU. Maybe I am getting old!

EDIT: I was wrong on both counts. Cindy never went to NIU either! Anybody interested in a slightly used brain? Good mileage! Sheesh!!!!

I would say the most famous alums of NIU are Kurt Sutter (creator of Sons of Anarchy), Actor Matt Walsh, and of course, Dan Castellaneta (the voice of Homer Simpson).

Thanks Wikipedia!

NIU has gone to 8 straight bowl games, including a BCS Bowl, and has gone to 7 straight MAC Championship games.

D1aa? LOL
